Today (25 August) is National Secondhand Wardrobe Day! I have more than 30 ties that count as hand-me-downs from people I have known, plus another dozen (?) bought for me at Goodwill. This one was given to me by the wife of a resident at Telford Terrace nursing home, about 11 years ago. I was visiting the residents every week, and I had acquired the nickname of "The Tie Man." It's a nice design based on patchwork quilts!
