To celebrate his birthday, our son (by inclusion) David Anderson asked me to wear my EKU "swoosh" logo tie. David works in student services at Vanderbilt University. Happy Birthday, David!

I am attending the "Anthology Together" conference in Nashville this week. It's focused on educational technology, specifically for me the Anthology product called Blackboard Learn. Yesterday I wore my one QR code tie, and several people scanned me to reach my tie blog. Today I am representing EKU for an Exemplary Course Program award, so I'll show my EKU swoosh logo, but most of the time I'll be wearing my chalkboard tie, for Blackboard.

Happy Birthday, Amanda Wheeler! Our daughter (-in-law) asked me to wear my "EKU Swoosh!" tie, because she is proud of her college and of their very good basketball season this year. The Eastern Kentucky University Colonels were third in the Atlantic Sun Conference and the championship runners-up in the College Basketball Invitational Tournament.

 Today turned out to be an excellent occasion to wear my new EKU "swoosh" logo tie. It was given to me by Tammie Gilbert from the EKU Barnes & Noble Bookstore, to thank me for my help with some technical details for electronic textbooks. I also have an "official" EKU face mask. My attire is appropriate for the first day of the EKU Honors Program Thesis Event, for which I am the "technology consultant."
