It's Sunflower Day, on the French Republican Calendar! Vincent Van Gogh painted them beautifully. Today is also National Handbag Day, so I'm carrying this tie-handbag that was secondhanded to me by my daughter Courtney.

Today is a very special Friday. Our Information Technology area is having a holiday party, featuring a promenade by eight of us dressed up to show our feminine side. In other words, it's a drag show, and we are doing it to raise money for a scholarship fund. So I'm wearing a polka dot dress instead of a normal shirt and tie. To complete my ensemble, I'll be carrying a fabulous tie-handbag that was re-gifted to me by my daughter Courtney. More photos from the event can be seen here.
