On this date in 1908, theatergoers in Paris were treated to the premiere of a cartoon! It was an animated film named Fantasmagorie. My tie shows a jumble of Looney Tunes® characters, developed from 1930-1969 by Warner Brothers. The major stars for Looney Tunes were Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. The original ideas for Looney Tunes came from the desire of Warner Brothers to compete against Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse.
