When you have a rubber ducky bow tie you must celebrate National Rubber Ducky Day on 13 January. As usual, Beth helped me with the bow-tieing! And my shirt is adorned with a plenitude of bow ties.

I think that I must follow my annual obeisance to National Bow Tie Day! This time the Rubber Duckies get to swim. As usual, Beth helped me get it tied nicely. And even in hot August I am wearing my special bow tie dress shirt!

It's Rubber Ducky Day! And so my own rubber ducky bow tie makes its nearly-annual appearance. (Ive also worn it once for National Bow Tie Day, in August.) Today's official celebration is tied to a calendar displayed in a 1973 episode of Sesame Street, showing Ernie's rubber ducky's birthday on 13 January!

It's Rubber Ducky Day! Beth gave me this bow tie two years ago, noting this special annual event. Last fall we found this wonderful shirt, so today ties both of them together. As explained at this Web site, wearing a bow tie is sometimes seen as an act of rebellion: "wearing a bow tie is a way of broadcasting an aggressive lack of concern for what other people think." I'm happy with my tie and I also hope you like it -- but of course I don't really care.

It's Rubber Ducky Day! Beth gave me this bow tie for Christmas a year ago, and when I wore it in August for National Bow Tie Day I tied it more perfectly than today's edition. As explained at this Web site, wearing a bow tie is sometimes seen as an act of rebellion: "wearing a bow tie is a way of broadcasting an aggressive lack of concern for what other people think." I'm happy with my tie and I also hope you like it -- but of course I don't really care.

Ten days ago was Rubber Ducky Day! I have had other special days to celebrate since then, but today gave me the chance to debut my very own rubber ducky bow tie. Beth gave it to me for Christmas and helped me tie it today . . .
