3January 23

Today is the birthday of my brother-in-law Mark Wollenweber, who lives some of the time in Rhode Island but spends much of his life traveling to commercial fisheries in China, Peru and Mexico. His career, as I understand it, is managing production and working conditions at many international locations hooked to distribution from Providence, Rhode Island. Beth thinks I should mention that he is very handsome. My tie features many different ocean fish.

The United Nations designates 2 May as World Tuna Day, "in order to raise awareness of the value of tuna, the threats facing tuna populations and the economic and social benefits of sustainably managed tuna stocks, and to share best practices in this regard." I have worn this tie displaying large ocean fish on World Tuna Day for several years, even though it does not include tuna. Always remember that you can tuna piano but you can't tuna fish.

For World Tuna Day, as is now traditional, I'm wearing my "ocean fish on navy" tie. It shows many large fish but does not include tuna. For those who recall Chicken-of-the-Sea advertisements, I'll say that I think this tie is in very good taste.

To pre-celebrate World Tuna Day (tomorrow), I'm wearing my ocean-fish-on-navy tie today! It doesn't show a tuna but I'm sure the bluefish and the sea bass are glad to be in the same neighborhood.

I'm wearing my "ocean fish" tie for World Tuna Day! The images don't include tuna but you get the idea. World Tuna Day is sponsored by the United Nations, "to highlight the importance of sustainably managed fish stocks in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development."

Today is World Tuna Day, sponsored by the United Nations, to develop awareness and support for this highly sustainable fish. My tie features many varieties of ocean fish (though not tuna).

Today is World Animals Day, so I'm wearing my tie featuring ocean fish (large mouth bass, sea bass, mullet, perch, Atlantic cod, bluefish, swordfish and marlin) -- an animals tie I haven't worn for quite a while. Thursday is National Noodle Day, and Fazoli's® wants me to celebrate a few days early, so I'll enjoy some excellent tortellini!

5 July 15

This is my first chance to wear another Father's Day gift. I like ties featuring animals! This one shows the following fish: large mouth bass, sea bass, mullet, perch, Atlantic cod, bluefish, swordfish and marlin. My Mallie-medallion tie bar will help us with our family celebration of Mallie's second birthday (coming up later this week).
