30 November 22

We have our weekly department conference call today -- the second-last one for 2022 -- and so I'm wearing my Dilbert® Christmas tie! Dogber is watching Dilbert decorate the tree with flipped-up ties and strings of Ratbert lights.

16 December 21

On the final work day for 2021, the staff in our IT Service Center are enjoying a pizza lunch! We have been in this new space since mid-August, and this will be the first chance we've taken to see each other (unmasked!) in a group of more than 3 or 4. I'm wearing my Dilbert® Christmas tie, where Dilbert is shown decorating the tree with Ratbert light strings and many copies of hie flipped-up tie, while Dogbert plays supervisor.

30 November 20

The second day of Advent 2020 is a regular work day for me, so I'm showing how Dilbert and Dogbert decorate their Christmas tree with Ratbert-lights and flipped-tie ornaments. I'm continuing to work from home -- now approaching nine months, and I expect these pandemic conditions to last through April or May!

I'm double-tied today for our "office" Christmas party/lunch. My Dilbert® tie has a tree decorated with his upturned striped ties and strings of Ratbert lights. And to top it off I've added a "holly" bow tie that originally belonged to Dad (Robert F. Wollenweber).

Feeling very Dilbert®-ish today . . . this morning I must attend an hourlong presentation called "Training: Non-Discrimination and Harassment Policy." Dilbert's tree, being admired by Dogbert, is decorated with his signature ties and strings of Ratbert-lights.

Today is our technology staff holiday party at a local pizza emporium. So I'm celebrating with my tie featuring Dilbert® and his Christmas tree, decorated with Ratbert-string lights and Dilbert's trademark ties, all under the critical observation of Dogbert.

16 December 15

Today is our Information Technology division holiday party (potluck lunch). Twenty years ago I began living the Dilbert® life! I have moved from CubicleLand into private offices but I'm still familiar with many of the experiences celebrated by Scott Adams. On my tie, Dilbert and Dogbert have just finished decorating the Christmas tree with strings of Ratbert lights and many upturned red-and-black-striped necktie ornaments!

It's Fir Tree Day, on the French Republican Calendar. So I'm letting Dilbert® decorate this fir tree with his classic ties, while Ratbert provides truly special "lights."

It's the third day of Advent 2012, and it's also Fir Tree Day on the 18th-century French Republican Calendar. Dilbert has decorated his very tall fir tree with Ratbert-lights and curled-tie ornaments.

Closing out the "office year" with a holiday party, so this is a more-than-casual Friday. My contribution is some sugar cookies. This tie shows a tree decorated with Dilbert's famous upturned tie and Ratbert-lights.
