It's Towel Day! Well, it was yesterday (Monday, Memorial Day). Towel Day honors the life and work of Douglas Adams, most famous for writing The
Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (HHGTTG). The original Towel Day (25 May) was
organized in 2001, two weeks after Adams' death. The significance of the
towel is its powerful security, as "about the most massively useful
thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have." So my towel-tie will help me stay safe today. My own interstellar
address is currently Earth, Solar System, Milky Way Galaxy, Laniakea Supercluster. And the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything is still 42.
