Today at Richmond First United Methodist Church I'm playing with the handbell choir, especially as a tribute to Barb and Tim Singleton. Barb has been the handbell director at FUMC for almost 30 years, and I played in that group with Tim and others from 1995 to 2008. They are moving to Florida soon, and the church wanted to celebrate this history with a handbell benediction and then a party/reception. My amazing tie featuring moose (meese?) originally belonged to Allan Durand Stephens (1940-2010), who played alongside me and Tim on the bass bells!
