It's a bittersweet day for us. Three years ago today our best friend Shadow crossed the "Rainbow Bridge." My "Love Dogs" tie is also appropriate at this time of year -- Saturday was International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day, which we celebrated with 3-year-old Belle Pepper! (She appreciated the treat, and she appreciated me for giving it to her.)
