Today is Fir Tree Day on the French Republican Calendar. It's also Advent II, the second Sunday in Advent 2022. The theme in many churches is Peace. Beth is playing organ at Richmond First United Methodist Church, with a peaceful prelude on "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming." My tie features a Christmas tree lighted by candles; it originally belonged to Dad (Robert Wollenweber).
