On this date in 1926, A. A. Milne's book Winnie-the-Pooh was released! The hyphens in the name created by Milne were dropped when the Walt Disney Company acquired rights to the characters in 1961. My tie shows Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger (as styled in the Disney animations) hiding in a field of paisleys.
