Today marks the birthday of Spanish artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989). My wonderful tie is based on images from his most famous painting "The Persistence of Memory," completed in 1931. We have some amusing shelf-hanging "melting clocks" that continuously remind us of the relativity of time.
