Today is Diagonal Stripes Day! That's my own "proclamation," because I have some excellent striped ties that do not get enough time outside my closet. Actually there are two days called National Stripes Day, on 31 March and 21 June, both apparently sponsored by the J. Crew company. So you can look forward to seeing some more stripes then!
