Today's tie bears the label Time Warp, which makes it especially appropriate for today. It displays elements from Salvador Dalí's painting "The Persistence of Memory." Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marquis of Dalí de Púbol (1904-1989) was born on 11 May 1904, so I'm celebrating his birthday in warped time. Of course our spacetime is constantly warped by our masses -- the experience we call "gravity" -- and so our lives evolve/revolve in warped time, and we can't really tell whether we are moving clockwise or counterclockwise.
