Happy Birthday, Faith Lang! My dear sister-in-law was born near Boston, MA (in Arlington), and so she chose this tie for me to wear today. It's based on a map of Boston in 1722. She also requested that I tie it with the Trinity knot, which is nifty. On my door I like the placard Faith gave me of her own photo of stream rapids accompanied by a quotation from Julian of Norwich: "We were loved from before the beginning."
