I am attending the annual conference of the National Collegiate Honors Council, this time in New Orleans, LA. The conference theme is "Disrupting Education," so I'm not sure whether to say I fit in or not! As my badge ribbon indicates, I am a "PRESENTER," and my poster (to be shown tomorrow) describes how teachers can use wikis and virtual tours for classroom teaching, to avoid using boring old-hat discussion boards and PowerPoint. My extra ribbon says "have you read my blog?," giving me the opportunity to talk about my ties! Today's tie displays the architecture of the Millennium Falcon, a truly disruptive force against the Empire.
