No special occasion today, so it's a great chance to wear this Peanuts® gang tie. It originally belonged to Allan Durand Stephens (1940-2010), a good friend at church and in the handbell choir at First United Methodist Church in Richmond, KY. His wife Mary Lou Stephens gave me a wonderful assortment of his ties last fall, and this is the last one from that set to debut as my own neckwear. I've been pleasantly surprised by the number of people today who have stopped to say "I love your tie!"
