I'm wearing purple for Lent. This is the second Tuesday in Lent 2019. In this year's "Lent Madness" tournament of saints, the daily winners so far are Martha of Bethany, Nicodemus, Tabitha (Dorcas), Ignatius of Loyola, Marina the Monk, John Chrysostom, Ephrem of Nisbis, William Wilberforce and Richard Allen. Today's contest matches preacher and hymnwriter Phillips Brooks against Canadian nun Marguerite d'Youville.
