This is my sister Gloria's birthday! She was my first piano teacher (when I was about 5), and later on she gave me some wonderful experiences with organ music. On visits home from college she often took me with her to a local church where she could practice on a pipe organ, and it was during those hours that I learned to appreciate the organ works of Bach, Karg-Elert, Alain and others. She helped select my tie for today by looking over all the options from this blog!
