If you want to have reindeer associated with Christmas, you might as well picture them kissing under mistletoe. In other news, 5 December is the most probable date for the birthday of Werner Heisenberg (1901-1976), although his famous Uncertainty Principle means that we cannot guarantee its precision. On a more entertaining note, today is also the birthday of Walt Disney (1901-1966).

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas, my TRUE LOVE gave to me . . . etc. My tie -- which is the last one for this Christmas season -- shows four pairs of reindeer "true lovers" preparing to kiss under mistletoe. (I am aware that neither reindeer nor mistletoe are mentioned in the traditional song. The idea of TRUE LOVE is the only connection.)

Today marks the birthday of theoretical physicist Werner Heisenberg (1901-1976), who is most famous for developing the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. (Or maybe it was someone else.) My "reindeer mistletoe" tie is a new gift from a young man named Ben who lives across the street and visits us daily when his school bus driver drops him off at our front door! The tie is clearly relevant to the Christmas season, but its connection to Werner Heisenberg is completely uncertain.
