Today is "approximately" Pi Day. It's my best tie-wearing day to celebrate Pi Day (3-14) because EKU has Spring Break this week. The number π is a universal constant that we associate most commonly with the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. For many calculations it is sufficient to use the value 3.14159, but you can find the first 10,000 decimal digits here. Although π is a never-ending decimal, its digits display some interesting patterns.
