My own experience with golf is limited almost entirely to the miniature version and one visit to a driving range. But on this date in 1968, former President Eisenhower drove a hole-in-one! And in 1971, astronaut Alan Shepard hit golf balls on the Moon! My tie shows a golfer in quite a bit of distress.
