This new tie is a real treat! It features gummi bears, zoomed up to very large size! The candy's name is sometimes spelled with a "y," but the "i" honors its German roots in the word Gummibär. Hans Riegel started the "Haribo" candy company in 1920 (99 years ago in the New Year), and began producing gummi sweets around 1922. Haribo now makes more than 80 million gummi bears every day.
