Reassuring my friends/fans that Gene does have some very traditional ties . . . Some occasions for today are: Curious Events Day, Leif Erikson Day, National Moldy Cheese Day, Nautilus Night, and the birthdays of Mary Ann Shadd Cary (1823-1893), Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921), Emil Fischer (1852-1919), and Aimee Semple McPherson (1890-1944).
