Today is "Inventor's Day," selected to honor the birthday in 1847 of Thomas Edison. He's most famous for inventing the light bulb, phonograph and movie camera. My tie celebrates the invention of duct tape! My shirt has a logo from a geothermal heating company, another great invention. And my shirt (and unseen t-shirt) is white, to celebrate White Shirt/White T-Shirt Day -- recalling the United Auto Workers strike in Detroit in 1937.
