My friend and cousin-once-removed Sherilyn Sheets helped choose this tie, to honor her birthday! Sherilyn lives in uptown Chicago, where she shepherds the JUSTembrace neighborhood community "home." The cardinal values of JUSTembrace are inclusivity, generosity and hospitality, all founded on the life and teachings of Jesus. Sherilyn finds ways to celebrate joyful moments in the midst of a community full of despair and loneliness, much as the Pooh characters on my tie are peering out through the swirling paisleys! Even Eeyore gets his chance, at the bottom of the tie.
