Today I'm aping Clark Gable, the King of Hollywood, who was born on this date in 1901. I don't have his hair or moustache, and I really need to work on being more dashing and debonair. He was pictured frequently with ties and ascots, worn always (?) with a suit. His ties were usually understated solids and stripes, except for a few noteworthy ones with bold polka dots.
