You may not believe it, but today is really International Skeptics Day. According to my tie, which is based on a woodcut by M. C. Escher, it's clear that something like gravity exists to hold things down, but you cannot know for sure which direction is "down." Of course, knowing that I am skeptical gives me absolute confidence that I exist.
