My tie today honors the long life our white-and-gray cat Annamarie shared with us. Annie was our "security chief" who also trained our dog Shadow while he was a puppy. She died ten days ago, at 16-1/2 years old. We buried her at our house in ground that will be covered next year with lilies (her favorite flower to nuzzle).
