Today in 1835, Charles Darwin arrived in the Galápagos Islands. (Look carefully on the map, off the coast of Ecuador.) He found some dragonflies, but I'm not sure how closely he investigated their diversity. This tie is based on a lampshade design by glass artist Louis Comfort Tiffany.
