Today is turning into "Rescue Ben's Cell Phone Day." Ben is flying to Salt Lake City for a newspaper-business conference. He called me (as I was waking up) to say that he and his comrade were nearing the airport, but he had left his cell phone in his car at his comrade's house! I was going to Ben's home this morning anyway to bring dog Mozzie back to our house (a different story), so it will be convenient for me to pick up a key to Ben's car (at his home in Stanford), drive to his comrade's house (in Harrodsburg) to get the phone, and then mail it to him (to arrive in Salt Lake City tomorrow morning)! Then Mozzie and I will come back to Berea, stopping along the way to buy our bulk dog food and wild bird seed. The whole roundabout trip will take less than 100 miles but the logistics make for a long description. I may or may not get any actual "work" done today.
