It's (not) St. Eugene's Day! I chose my rose-window tie for today, thinking that it was St. Eugene's Day. Later on I found out that my "patron saint's day" is actually celebrated on June 2. I'm just glad that my parents considered me to be well-born. (Note: I have discovered that there is a "St. Eugene" whose day is May 21. Eugene de Mazenod (1782-1861) was recognized as a saint (by the Vatican) in 1995.)
