The Statue of Liberty is open again, with new access to the crown! Today marks the 126th anniversary of the dedication of the statue, a gift from France to the United States. Its interior stairs were closed for the last year for reconstruction. The Wall Street Journal reports that "About 3.5 million people visit the statue every year. A Parks Service official said the renovations will allow an additional 26,000 people to visit inside the monument annually."
