The main occasions for July 5 are: (1) birthday of Jean Marlow, my comrade in Information Technology at EKU; (2) birthday of Bill Watterson, creator of the Calvin and Hobbes® comic; (3) birthday of Corey Reynolds, "Sgt. Gabriel" on The Closer, and (4) first display of the bikini, in Paris in 1946. None of those have anything to do with golf, and I am only a fan of the miniature version. Do golfers actually dress like this in real life? This tie was a recent gift from friends at Telford Terrace, a personal care facility where I visit most Sunday evenings.
