Celebrating 280 years of public libraries! Benjamin Franklin opened the first public library (in Philadelphia) on this date in 1731. My tie reminds of the moment in the movie Snoopy, Come Home! where Snoopy finds out that libraries have a rule: NO DOGS ALLOWED.
