August 17 is always "Meaning of 'Is' Day." To celebrate the idea of is-ness today I'm wearing my Escher art tie depicting gravity pulling in all directions (although the tie itself hangs "normally" down from my neck). Our existence on Earth tells us that Earth's gravitational pull is all that matters, disguising the reality that we are constantly interacting gravitationally with the moon, Sun, and other objects throughout the universe. Think about that today and tomorrow.
