09 September 09

There was some apocalyptic hope that the world might end at 09:09:09 a.m. on 09-09-09. I was watching for it but it didn't happen, at least not in this time zone. I borrowed Benjamin's "Blues Brothers" tie for the occasion. I also thought it would be appropriate to "put on the nines" by showing nine different ties. It was impossible to come up with a way to tie all of them around my neck at the same time.
























By the way, in Japan it's Chrysanthemum Day.
